Some cute korean girls that stopped us on the stree to take a survey about korean food. They were sooooooo excited to talk to us. they asked to take a picture with us. then they gave us this food for taking the survey. Not exactly sure what they were trying to say, maybe falling in love with korean food?

Hello family!!

It has been a great week here in Korea! Sister Bell and I haven been busy trying to find people to teach. We've been praying to find people and just out all the time talking to people trying to find interest. We saw some miracles this week and I know that the Lord is working right along with us. On Monday night we had FHE with a part-member family. The dad is the only non-member. We had dinner with their family, they have two kids that are super cute and then we played a game and shared a message about keeping the commandments. it was super fun. I'll send a picture of the girl playing the game. It's basically like flour jenga and if you make the flour tower fall, you have to find the penny with your face. The kids liked it. 

This whole week we set a goal of teaching 25 other lessons and we almost met out goal...we taught 24! that in itself is a miracle!  Tuesday was district meeting day and we had a survey activity that we asked people about their interest in learning english, so we could get a lot of phone numbers to contact people. All day on wednesday we just talked to so many people and shared about the Book of Mormon. We gave away 8 copies that day. On Wednesday we had two lessons set up. We were supposed to teach our investigator and another lady that was interested in learning English. That morning we got a text from our investigator that she had been in a car accident and was going to the hospital where her family lived, which is about 2 hours away. She said that she is doing fine though. She won't be back here though for another month, which means that we have no investigators right now. We were super bummed, but we are trying to stay in contact with her so that we can meet again when she gets back. The other lady stood us up, so  we didn't end up teaching any of the lessons that we planned, but that was the day that we taught a lot of people about the BOM on the street, so the Lord was definitely blessing us for our efforts that day. 

On Thursday our plans fell through, like they often do here so when we were taking the bus home, we realized that we were on the wrong one, so we had to switch at a different stop. At the stop a man approached us and started speaking to us in english. We explained who we were and then he paid for our bus tickets and he was talking to us about how he thinks the mormon religion is a great religion based on the family. We invited him to church on Sunday and he said that he wanted to come with his grandson. It was a miracle!!! I'm glad that our plans fell through and we got on the wrong bus :) He ended up coming to our English class on Saturday and he really enjoyed it. He couldn't come to church this sunday, but he is inviting us to come over for lunch on wed or thurs to meet his wife. We are excited about him. 

So we have 2 different English programs to serve and to help to meet people to teach. We have the English class on Saturday which is with all of the missionaries in our area and ward members come and we invite our investigators and anyone that might be interested. It is just an hour of conversation and practicing pronunciation and we always play a game. It's way fun. We also have the 30 30 program. It's a one- on one program where Sister Bell and I will teach someone either at their house or at the church and for 30 minutes we teach them English and the other 30 minutes we share with them a happy message, namely the gospel lessons. It's really great because people are interested in learning english and then when they start to hear they lessons they are ofter more interested as time goes on. 

On Friday we had dinner at a member's restraunt. The food was way good and we met a new investigator there, which was great. LAst night a member had us over for dinner and she fed us soooo much food. It was all good, but as you all know, I have a hard time eating under pressure. It's something the I will definitely have to work on here, because they get offended if you don't eat all of their food and if you don't get seconds. I'm working on stretching my stomach out ;) But the food is al way good! Chopsticks are going well. They tell me that I hold them very well :) I think the practice at home really helped. Life is good here though! It has been insanely hot here, but President Shin said that it should start to cool down in about 10 days so hopefully that's true.

Sounds like you all are doing well! Sorry if I don't email you all individually...the time just runs out so fast while I am emailing. Know that I love you all though!!! You are the best family ever!!
