Hey there family!!!
Can't beleive that another week already came and went! We had a good week here!
We found some new investigators that we are excited about! A woman called our English advertisement that we had put up outside of her apartment and she asked us to come over the next day to meet and introduce our program. She was interested in having her son learn more English. So we went to her house the next day and met her and 2 of her sons (she has another one that wasn't home then) and we breifly saw her husband before we left. But she doesn't have any relgious background and when she heard about our church she thought that it sounded good and would be good for her kids. So we are going to start teaching them English and about our church and they will hopefully be able to start coming to church next week as well.
One of our investigators came to church for the first time yesterday, which was exciting! we've been meeting her for a while now so we were really happy to have her progress to come to church. she couldn't stay for the whole thing, but I think it was a good experience for her. The members were all super nice to her.
We taught our recent converts Sister Cha and her daughter about the temple yesterday, so they can start to prepare to go to the temple. Her other daughter that is in Utah right now got baptized as well and we heard that it was a good experience for her as well. yay for families growing in the gospel!!! now her husband just needs to get baptized...we saw him yesterday, but he is super busy right now so he doesn't have time to meet with the missionaries right now.
Here's a funny experience from the week:
We were doing some door to door proselyting on saturday night because we didn't have any appointments. At one door an older man opened the door and he listened as we shared a little message outside of his door. He was super nice. He told us that he loves music and wanted to give us a gift so he gave us both these cds that he had burned with his favorite music on it. When we got home that night we turned it on to see what kind of music it was and it was lots of french and spanish music haha. We will tell the Elders about him and have them try to visit him sometime :)
The other sister missionaries in our ward had 2 of their investigators get baptized yesterday and it was super great! We are having a fun FHE activity tonight. Life is good!!
I love you all!! Happy Fathers day!!!! Hope Matt has a great graduation!!!
Love
Sister Livingston
